If you wish to visit Oia, you’ll need more time, as this enchanting village, renowned for its romantic sunset views, is about 20.6 km away, requiring a 40-minute drive.
The airport is approximately 7 kilometers (4.3 miles) from the village of Megalochori. There is a bus that first goes to the town of Fira, where you need to transfer to another bus to reach the airport. Unfortunately, there is no taxi station near the village, so the only way to get a taxi is to book one online.
The distance from Megalochori to the port is approximately 4.6 kilometers (2.8 miles). There is no direct bus service, so you will need to travel to Fira first. Taking a taxi is always a good option to ensure you arrive on time, and you can either call one or book online.
