See the excavations of the prehistoric town in Akrotiri which was created in the fifth millennium BC and then was covered with ash after the eruption of the volcano around 1500 years BC. The volcanic ash, by covering the whole city, kept the biggest parts of this area protected and now it is possible to walk inside the city and also see the wall paintings and some furniture vessels.

Your cruise departs from the port. You’ll be arriving at the volcano bay, where we’ll be docking, and you can follow the path to the top where active craters are. Next, you’ll be moving to the island of Palea Kameni and the hot springs, where the water temperature is 7 degrees °C. (44,6 °F). After the bath, you will cruise to Therassia to enjoy a wine tasting.
Visit a unique winery at Therassia and take the opportunity to see the vineyards and the premises of the wine production. You will have the chance to walk on the volcanic soil and discover the uniqueness of Therasia island.
