Itinerary

Oia village (Blue domes)

You couldn’t start your day better than a breathtaking exploration of the most famous of Santorini. The picturesque village of Oia dates back to the 12th century BC. Nowadays it is known for its breathtaking views and one of the most beautiful sunsets around the world. Walk through the whitewashed alleys of Santorini’s marine village, admire the unique view and take memorable pictures of the volcano and the 3 Blue Domes. Discover the ruins of the Venetian Castle and visit some of the most elegant shops of Santorini.

Wine museum

Your journey to the world of Santorinian wine goes on as you delve into the secrets of wine making in a one-of-a-kind, “labyrinth” wine museum. Taste local wines and learn about one of Santorini’s signature products – it all takes place in a unique, underground cave – 8 meters under the earth surface! Get a perspective’s view of how the wine procedure was about 600 years ago from ploughing of the vineyards till the weighing of the grapes. After your tour inside the museum, it’s time to taste some of their in house produced wines, such as Assyrtiko and Kamaritis.

Black sand beach

This village is a coastal area that offers a nice blend of relaxation on the beach and culture. The beach is very popular for its pristine black sand and the clear blue waters. Get the opportunity to swim or just to calm down by the water while enjoying a meal or drink at one of the most unique volcanic beaches around the world.

Monastery of Prophet Elias (Highest point of Santorini)

One of the oldest active monasteries in Santorini which dates back to the 17th Century. This holy place is located at the highest point of the island and offers its visitors a breathtaking panoramic view. Observe the shape of Santorini, walk through the Monastery and taste some local wine and treats produced by the monks.

Megalochori village

The name of this village means “the big village” in Greek as Megalochori is the largest local area all over Santorini. By visiting this local area you will be able to stroll around some very old stone made local houses and canavas and get an insider’s view of  how the real life on this majestic volcanic island is. Also it is worth stop at the main square of the village, where locals are used to gathering in traditional cafes and tavernas under a very charming and cozy atmosphere.

What happens if there are kids or elders and do we have to be in a good physical shape?

Every one of our drivers is a professional, knows how to modify every different tour and to handle special requests depending on the type of participants to make an unforgettable enjoyable experience for them.

What kind of clothes and shoes is needed to wear?

It is recommended to wear easy walking shoes because there are some specific areas where you may need to walk on uneven or rocky ground and comfortable clothes to feel relaxed and cooler especially during the summer months. Also if you are interested in visiting some religious monuments, please dress appropriately.

What is the semi-private sightseeing tour?

The semi-private tour is joining an organized excursion with others for a few hours to go and explore the island. Useful tips:

During the summer time in Greece there are high temperatures and the sun is very hot. We recommend that you wear sunglasses, sunscreen and possibly a hat to protect yourself. In every one of our sightseeing rides we offer bottles of fresh water for every individual to stay cool and hydrated.
