How to get to the Red beach?

You can get there by taking the bus from Fira or a taxi, moreover there is also the choice of getting to the Santorini Red Beach by boat. A very convenient choice is to book a taxi online.

It is important to know that if you don’t get to the Red Beach by boat, walking is needed to reach the coast. There you will find a small rocky and uneven path which is a little bit steep in some of its parts. For that reason walking slowly and carefully is suggested.

Additionally, it is recommended that you bring sunscreen, light clothes and a hat with you as there are not enough umbrellas for everybody to protect themselves from the hot sun. If you have your own beach umbrella and chairs is another option to make your visit to this beach more enjoyable.
